If you are not able to resolve your conflict using our AI Driven Engine you will be given one of two options:
1. Proceed to Mediation (Old School) mediation without attorneys or without the mediator being a retired judge or attorney, true Neutrals (Mediation is not a legal process). This 1st option is of course less expensive since you are not paying your attorneys to participate and this can all be done in the Cloud, via Video Conferencing.
2. You can elect to bring your attorneys and use a Mediator from the Legal Industry. This can also either be done in the Cloud, or Face-to-Face, or a combination of both. - If, at any point, you want the advice of an attorney, we can refer you to an attorney referral firm to get legal advice.

When you agree to use OurFamilySettle we then collect contact information for the other party and contact them to let them know you are working with OurFamilySettle to reolve the conflict.
We work with the other party to fully explain how OurFamilySettle works, the benefits of using OurFamilySettle, and why they should trust our process.
More information is collected from each party and then our settlement sytem begins to help both parties come to an equitable and agreeable solution.
A final resolution is achieved and an agreement document is created. Our Customer Relationship Specialist stays engaged until the agreement is finalized and all action items are executed by each party.

Traditional Mediation and Court Order Mediation

Traditional Mediation was first introduced under Alternative Dispute Resolution four to five decades ago is and how mediation is basically offered in most countries of the world (beside the United Sates). It does not include the Disputing Parties Attorneys or even Attorney or former Judge Mediators. In the last two decades, above 90% of the mediations in the US are court referred and the majority include the parties' attorneys. Most mediators/neutrals are practicing or retired attorneys or retired Judges.
We believe the market is ripe for a new approach to Mediation in the US but based in a large part on the Traditional Approach from the ADR industries. Today, OurFamilySettle can offer consumers with conflicts a fully online Mediation alternative and the Disputing Parties are not allowed to bring attorneys and the assigned Mediator/Neutral will NOT be an attorney or retired Judge. Our neutrals are professionals trained in Conflict Resolution, Psychology of Conflict, and are not officers of the court. Mediation is NOT a legal process. Someone balking after an agreement has been made is a part of the conflict process, no matter what system you choose. If this happens we engage with the hesitant party to work toward a finalized resolution.
